Rules and Regulations
Located in the Lower Level of Moore-Few Care Center
Effective: July 2025
Purpose: The Community Room is a shared space intended for recreational, educational, and social activities that support the well-being of residents, their families, and approved community members.
General Rules of Use
- Eligibility for Use
- The room is available to:
- Nursing home residents
- Facility staff
- Residents’ families and visitors
- Approved community groups or organizations
- All events must be pre-approved by the Administrator or designee.

- Hours of Operation
- 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM daily (unless otherwise authorized)
- 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM daily (unless otherwise authorized)
- Reservations
- Reservations are required
- Priority is given to facility-sponsored events.
- A reservation calendar is maintained by the facility office.
- Supervision
- Events involving minors must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
- Outside groups must provide a designated contact person who will be present.
Use and Conduct
- Cleanliness and Set-Up
- Users are responsible for cleaning up after use and restoring the room to its original condition.
- Tables and chairs must be returned to their designated locations.
- Trash must be disposed of in provided receptacles.
- Prohibited Activities
- Smoking, vaping, and the use of tobacco products are prohibited.
- Alcoholic beverages are not permitted
- Open flames (including candles) are not allowed.
- No disruptive behavior, loud music, or activities that may disturb residents.
- Decorations
- All decorations must be pre-approved.
- No nails, tacks, or adhesive that could damage surfaces.
- Equipment and Kitchen Use
- Kitchen facilities may be used with prior approval; users are responsible for cleaning all surfaces and appliances.
Liability and Enforcement
- Damages and Liability
- Any damage to the room or equipment is the responsibility of the individual or group reserving the room.
- Moore-Few is not liable for lost or stolen items.
- Right to Refuse or Revoke Use
- The facility reserves the right to cancel or deny use for non-compliance or safety concerns.
- Future use may be restricted for rule violations.
- Emergency Procedures
- All users must comply with posted emergency exits and procedures.
- In the event of a fire alarm or evacuation, all users must leave immediately.
